      <image:title>Portfolio - Blue Cup Coffee Sorbet - Packaging Design</image:title>
<image:caption>Ice cream packaging for a school project. I spent summers seeing my relatives drink coffee out of small blue enamel cups, so I ran with that idea. I went with a high altitude backdrop (the San Francisco Peaks) and incorporated simplified patterns that I'd seen around my grandma's house. The packaging is meant to be used at three different stages. 1. While it is cold, as one would normally, as a cup to hold as you scoop sorbet out with a spoon. 2. When the sorbet has been out of the freezer too long and becomes melted (since sorbet is mostly water) for a sweet caffeine drink! 3. It can be used as a reusable coffee cup at any Blue Cup Coffee Co. shop for a discount on their next beverage!</image:caption>

<image:caption>This project was part research, part design, and part animation project which became a labor of love since it encouraged me to explore my identity and history. For the initial poster I chose to create something that looked like it was from the 1800's, I'm a big fan of woodcut graphics and I utilized some of those style techniques. I wanted to keep things 'hand-made' where I could and used a ballpoint pen for the images and vectorized them in the final design. For the animation, it was all about building the assets in Illustrator and Audition, then moving them to After Effects and Premiere Pro. Preview animation here I tapped a local musician to score the animation and it all came out pretty well! Musician: Cecil Patrick Tso - Bandcamp Here</image:caption>

      <image:title>Portfolio - How to Colonize a New World - Instructions</image:title>
<image:caption>A Print Publication assignment, we were tasked with creating a foldable instruction sheet. After moving to Arizona I became interested in Navajo history. I found that much of what I researched was not taught in the school system as it is. So I decided to create a satirical government-issued field manual based on actual historical events paired with historical imagery and information. It folds out in order, step by step.</image:caption>

<image:title>Portfolio - Arizona Snowbowl Disc Golf Map - Interactive Map</image:title>
<image:caption>Arizona Snowbowl needed a new disc golf map for their 2016 summer season. I was tasked with the project and began researching previous AZSB summer designs, I also interviewed the designer of previous disc golf maps. Through that process, I ultimately used previously approved copy and information that was given to me. I went with bright summer colors and created something that is reminiscent of a summer camp in the mountains. I also thought the map should have additional usage, interactivity, and some encouragement for folks to save something from a memorable experience, so I added a tear away scorecard for golfers to use.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Cab Comics wanted to revamp their brand identity by replacing their old logo with a new one that had a contemporary look and feel. They wanted to keep their color palette and retain the ‘cab’ association and blend with more of a ‘comics’ aesthetic.</image:caption>

<image:caption>PSU Native American Student and Community Center wanted a new logo to reflect the current feeling of the center as it has changed over the 15 years it’s been open. They wanted to move away from the Papyrus font and ‘old’ or ‘historic’ aesthetics and more contemporary. It was a challenge to find ways to represent every community that is the center. Eventually, I found a way to touch on design elements that represented, the region, and the greater community.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Portfolio - 3's In The Trees - Branding</image:title>
<image:caption>3's in the Trees is a food truck based in Flagstaff, Arizona. They wanted to differentiate from the other food trucks in the area. We created a brand identity that could be used across applications, whether at their location, on social media, or within a food truck pod. They wanted their logo to include the San Francisco peaks, snow, and also include how their menu options always come in threes. I included their input throughout the process. I also built a single scrolling website with a little bit of parallax movement in Adobe Muse and featured their online social accounts as well as a monthly calendar of where they will be. 3s in the Trees Website example here</image:caption>
